The future of navigation is looking bright with the developing infrastructure and technology.

The introduction of autopilot on board a ship has made navigating the ship little easier in combination with other technologies. In future we can be seeing much more smarter ships which will need very less maintenance. The ships will be able to choose course directly from the RADARS and ECDIS. It will help in the tricky waters and help navigate the ship better. The satellite system will be very well developed in the coming years connecting the global trade together.  

The thought of ship being autonomous is very amazing. Autonomous ships will not only save time and money but also reduce the risk of human error, making sea travel safer than ever before.

The weather system will be so well developed that we would be able to conclude the weather of the unpredictable seas and stop accidents that happen in rough seas. It will lead to smooth sailing round the clock.

Many shipping companies are now making their own augmented reality VR's which help the seafarers understand the sea better and test their knowledge. The upside of this system can be that this a platform where we can afford mistakes and still be safe but in the real world it will be a mistake which can damage the ship but also lead to a danger to the lives of the people.
The ships will be ecofriendly so as to burn less fuel during voyages due to smart ships resulting in not only saving money but also protecting the environment. The future is full of other types of adventures we can't imagine so let the time sail and work it's magic and give us better navigating ships.
As result we need to continually need to upgrade ourselves to the latest inventions and technologies. My readers it's high time you start searching and get to know your field better.

  Introduction The  movie is set in a cold region where two T2 type tanker ship snapped in half and the protagonist sets out to the sea with his team to save them.  The coast guard goes out in the sea to save the people stranded on board a ship which had snapped in half due to bad conditions of the sea. Learning from the movie  I learnt how a seafarer in distress not only showed endurance to the rough sea and the role of  a leader in need.
