SUMMARY OF THE MOVIE-



  • In "The Finest Hours," which is based on a true story and takes place in 1952, a remarkable Coast Guard rescue is coordinated during an inclement storm known as a dear old nor'easter off the shore of Cape Cod. Bernie Webber (who is portrayed by Chris Pine) and his team run a critical rescue operation to pull out the survivors who were left behind on the SS Pendleton, a tourist boat in two halves. 
  • Although the odds were largely against them and the rescue encountering brutal waves complex, Bernie and his crew crossed through the ocean and reached the Pendletons. What the movie emphasizes is bravery, heroism and a strong-knit bond, with some of the characters showcasing the difficult times in remarkable visuals and terrific acting. A story of survival and self-sacrificing heroism in a world with no hope is, in fact, what it demonstrates.


MY LEARNING FROM THE MOVIE-


  • Courage: Through a brave character, shows the might of courage over adversity.
  • Resilience: Emphasizes ingenuity as the source of strength for anyone thwarted by adversities. We are forced to call it stubbornness.
  • Teamwork: Shows the high spirit of team work and togetherness in reaching achievement aims.
  • Community Support: Building on the theme that community is an important factor for overcoming challenges it was also emphasized the power of solidarity.
  • Leadership: Show how both characters manifest the necessary qualities to officers in crises.
  • Never Giving Up: Has the power to make someone realize that the straw is not the only thing that you can use to make artificial bubbles, even when the circumstances are very complicated.
  • Compassion: The compassion for another person and the humanity in hearts have always struck me when I am helping someone.

PART OF THE MOVIE THAT IMPRESED ME-


  • In the scene where Bernie Webber and his crew are undertaking this risky task of going into a storm while sitting in a small lifeboat that is filled with the powerful waves, the audience, there is this overwhelming sense of danger and the fear associated with being in a disastrous sea. Such scene precisely shows how brave and courageous the rescue team is in succeeding in its mission in the middle of many difficulties.

PERSPECTIVE -


  • As per my perspective the movie I watch  is the best per my career background . 
  • I have experienced  the qualities while dealing such situation  and understand the what can be the consequence.
  • while watching movie it feels that i am there in movie and experiencing the same situation.
  • it teach me that how i can deal with this type of situations while being calm and compose. so this is my perspective about this movie.

  The Finest Hours Summary: "The Finest Hours" is a perfect example of the incredible, brave, and unselfish acts belonging to the brave guardians of the sea, the US Coast Guard that enabled the rescue on the 6th of February, 1952.  The event which sets things in motion takes place when an oil tanker, the SS Pendleton, is split in two by an intense nor'easter off the coast of Cape Cod; Bernie Webber and his crew set off on an unpredictable adventure to save the sailors who are stranded on a wrecked vessel.  Going on with the blocked positions and unlimited oppositions, this about not giving up and having a heroic spirit, in spite of mismatches and injustice.
