THE FINEST HOURS

SUMMARY:
The 1952 storm-related Coast Guard rescue that inspired the film "The Finest Hours" actually occurred. When a tanker splits in half, trapping personnel, the Coast Guard team, led by Bernie Webber, makes a risky attempt to save the day in a small lifeboat. This is a very dangerous mission.
MY LEARNING FROM THE MOVIE:-
The following are some important lessons to learn from "The Finest Hours":
Teamwork and Leadership:
The issue between blindly obeying commands and exercising your own judgment in an emergency is explored in the film. The Coast Guard coxswain, Bernie Webber, makes the critical choice to ignore orders and try to save the life despite the great danger.
Joint Accountability:
The entire Coast Guard team must collaborate well under duress for the rescue to be successful. Everybody has a part to perform, and survival depends on their ability to work together.
The movie emphasizes the importance of hope and how it may sustain individuals in dire circumstances. The sailors who are stuck and Bernie's crew are holding out hope for a successful rescue.
Strength of the Human Spirit: The film highlights how resilient people can be when faced with extreme hardship. The protagonists' will to live sends a strong message.

PART OF MOVIE THAT IMPRESS ME:-
The movie's main sequence, "The Rescue," may have captivated you because of its audacious effort at rescue. The stakes involved, the intensity, and the collaboration might all be contributing factors.
CONCLUSION:-
The story is wrapped up with a mixture of victory and bittersweetness in "The Finest Hours" finale:
All of the seamen who are still alive are miraculously saved from the damaged stern of the Pendleton by Bernie Webber and his crew. Without a compass, they must navigate their way back to the coast, but with the help of the villagers and their cars' headlights, they succeed in returning safely. The characters' and the Pendleton's fates are revealed through text on the screen. Bernie and Miriam stay together for a long time, and the crew members receive medals for their valor.
The overall tone of the conclusion is positive and joyous. It highlights the strength of bravery, cooperation, and the resilience of the human spirit.
