SUMMARY OF THE MOVIE- 

      On Feb. 18, 1952, a massive storm splits the SS Pendleton in two, trapping more than 30 sailors inside the tanker's sinking stern. (Engineer Ray Sybert) bravely takes charge to organize a strategy for his fellow survivors. As word of the disaster reaches the Coast Guard in Chatham, Mass. Chief Warrant Officer Daniel Cluff orders a daring rescue mission. Despite the ferocious weather, (coxswain Bernie Webber) takes three men on a lifeboat to try and save the crew against seemingly impossible odds. The movie shows their bravery and courage in executing such a life risking task.

MY LEARNING FROM THE MOVIE-

  • Leadership: Show how both characters manifest the necessary qualities to officers in crises.
  • Courage: Through a brave character, shows the might of courage over adversity.
  • Resilience: Emphasizes ingenuity as the source of strength for anyone thwarted by adversities. We are forced to call it stubbornness.
  • Teamwork: Shows the high spirit of team work and togetherness in reaching achievement aims.
  • Community Support: Building on the theme that community is an important factor for overcoming challenges it was also emphasized the power of solidarity.
    

PART OF THE MOVIE THAT IMPRESSED ME-

  • In the scene where Bernie Webber and his crew are undertaking this risky task of going into a storm while sitting in a small lifeboat that is filled with the powerful waves, the audience, there is this overwhelming sense of danger and the fear associated with being in a disastrous sea. Such scene precisely shows how brave and courageous the rescue team is in succeeding in its mission in the middle of many difficulties.

PERSPECTIVE -

  • As per my perspective the movie I watch  is the best per my career background . 
  • I have experienced  the qualities while dealing such situation  and understand the what can be the consequence.
  • while watching movie it feels that i am there in movie and experiencing the same situation.
  • it teach me that how i can deal with this type of situations while being calm and compose. so this is my perspective about this movie.
