Captain Jayant Sahu and Captain SK Mohan are the two mariner who inspire me the most. As they were the permanent captain of the world largest Tanker ship JAHARE VIKING. They have had a full life sailing experience in the high seas. As it was a giant monster of having a length of 490m and a huge amount of cargo carrying capacity, and handling was not a easy task. They both share their experiences aboard the vessel that they have able to captained the vessel for more than 10 years. But unfortunate it was destroyed in the Iran-Iraq war and she was declared as a total constructive loss.

Indian seafarers have played a well deserved role in Merchant Marine and have earned a great respect throughout the globe and this is well evident by the ever increasing number of Indians in the foreign company.
